Promoting financial cooperation between Vietnam and ADB

On the morning of August 14, Deputy Minister Vo Thanh Hung held a meeting at the Ministry of Finance headquarters with a delegation of Executive Directors from the Asian Development Bank (ADB). The delegation was led by Ms. Charlotte Justine Diokno Sicat, Executive Director in charge of the Philippines Country Office and 6 regional countries. Also present at the meeting were representatives from various units under the Ministry of Finance, including the Department of Debt Management and External Finance, the Department of Investment, the Department of Legal Affairs, the Department of State Budget, and the General Department of Taxation.

On June 4th, Deputy Minister Nguyen Duc Chi at the headquarters of the Ministry of Finance, had a working session with a delegation from Australia. The elegation was composed of major investment funds and advisory agencies and was led by Mr. Andrew Goledzinowski, the Australian Ambassador to Vietnam. Representatives from various functional units under the Ministry of Finance also attended the working session.

19 March 2015, Hanoi: Deputy Minister of Finance Mr. Truong Chi Trung on behalf of the Government of Vietnam and Deputy President of Korea Eximbank (KEXIM) Mr. Yin Seong Hyeog signed 2 Loan Agreements on “Thien Tan Water Supply Project Phase II: Supplementary Loan” and “Support Program to Respond to Climate Change for Fiscal Year 2014” with the total value of 25 million US dollars.
