Up to now, the General Department of Customs has provided 215/237 online public services at the 3rd and 4th level (nearly 91% of the total administrative procedures performed by customs authorities). In which, 209 administrative procedures are provided with online public services at the 4th level (reaching a rate of 88%). From January 1, 2022 to the end of June 15, 2022, nearly 7 million dossiers of the 4th level online public service will be received and handled by the customs authorities.

According to the General Department of Customs, 100% of customs procedures have been automated, 100% of customs departments and customs branches carry out electronic customs procedures with the participation of 99.65% of enterprises.

The General Department of Customs has coordinated with ministries and branches to complete the implementation of administrative procedures on the National Single Window by 2022. As of June 15, 2022, the National Single Window has been in place with 249 administrative procedures of 13 ministries and branches connected, with over 4.9 million dossiers of more than 54.8 thousand enterprises. There are 431 types of information from 21 ministries and sectors that will be connected through the National Single Window.

In the first 6 months of 2022, Vietnam continues to exchange information on electronic certificates of origin (form D) with all 9 ASEAN countries (Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Brunei, Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos and the Philippines). The Ministry of Finance is coordinating with the ASEAN Secretariat and ASEAN countries to connect and exchange ASEAN customs declarations in accordance with ASEAN's common plan and roadmap.

The General Department of Customs said that they will continue to manage, supervise and operate the VNACCS/VCIS automatic clearance system and the centralized information technology systems of the Customs sector to be stable 24/7, ensuring security, safety, smooth communication lines effectively serve the customs clearance of imported and exported goods.

 The General Department of Customs has successfully built and implemented an automatic customs management system at ports, warehouses and yards (VASSCM) at 33/35 customs departments of provinces and cities, creating favorable conditions for port, warehouse, and yard enterprises, reducing time and costs for import-export enterprises, enhancing the effectiveness of customs supervision.

The General Department of Customs actively develops the government's decree on connecting and sharing information between government agencies and related parties through the National Single Window in the fields of export and import, goods transit. The agency is developing a master plan on building and developing IT systems to serve the implementation of the National Single Window and the ASEAN Single Window in the direction of centralized processing in order to build an overall architectural model, effectively apply technologies of the 4.0 industrial revolution, and inherit the results of the invested systems.
